This product is a polluting antioxidant. In addition to its good antioxidant performance, it also has the effects of anti-ozone, anti-buckling and cracking, and suppression of harmful metals such as copper and manganese.
Its performance is similar to the anti-aging agent 4010NA, but its toxicity and skin irritation are less than 4010NA, and its solubility in water is also better than 4010NA (washing loss rate: 4010NA is 50%, while 4020 is only 15-20%) . It can be widely used in the preparation of tires, adhesive tapes and many other industrial rubber products, the general dosage is 0.5-1.5%. Due to the serious pollution, this product is not suitable for making light-colored products. Anti-aging agent 4020 is one of the main varieties of p-phenylenediamine anti-aging agent.
Applications include the use in pneumatic tire components, solid tires, belts, hoses, cable, automotive mounts, bushing and general mechanical products that are exposed to continuous and intermittent dynamic operating conditions and require protection from ozonation.
p-phenylenediamine antioxidants are currently the main excellent varieties commonly used in the rubber industry at home and abroad, and are also the development direction of antioxidants in the future.
Will become black on exposure to air, but cause no effect on its properties. Due to low melting point, it should be stored away from high temperature.
